The Bloop (2024)

The Bloop (1)

The Bloop was a hypothetical species of marine mammal that was first thought to have lived on earth. It is a huge long whale that dwarfs most other creatures by its sheer size alone. The Bloop is a Tanker class creature due to its blubber being so thick that not even regular Cookiecutter sharks can bite into it. Unlike the blue whale, the Bloop is, more like the Livyatan Melville, a carnivorous whale. The most recognizable feature about this massive creature is its song, which can be heard from nearly 5000 miles away from the source of the sound.

Biology[]

The Bloop's frontal part of the body is large and similar in shape to a shark but its behind tail part gets thinner like that of a stingray. Its limbs seem to be not fins but rather large webbed tubes which propel it through the water with massive strides. The Bloop measures out between 77 meters to 215 meters long and it's teeth are nearly the length of a human arm. The front of its face is an odd nose-like bulb which increases the frequency of its powerful song that can nearly cause human heads to explode on contact. The creature's top half actually moves differently from its back half; the front of the creature's body moves like a whale, while its back moves like that of a Saltwater crocodile to angle it better. The Bloop's skull was also very developed and incredibly hard surfaced, moreso than that of the infamous Megalodon, meaning it also likely slams into the bellies of larger prey near the surface.

Moveset[]

Moves: Aqua tail, Tsunami(creates a massive wave for massive damage), Shadow Sneak(becomes dark and camoflauged, then attacks), Crunch, Hyper Voice, Ultra Roar(this move is a more powerful boomburst which can explode heads and implode ships), Whirlpool(generates a whirlpool), Dive, Hydro Pump, Mega Bite, Iron Head, Aqua Jet, Zen Headbutt, Dragon Tail, Heavy Slam.

Discovery[]

The Bloop was first recorded in 1997. It was an extremely loud sound unlike anything before, and there were theories that this came from an animal either larger than the loudest known animal on Earth, the Blue Whale (or the creature making the sound is just better at making loud sounds.)

In 2013, a dead specimen, likely a female, washed ashore off the coast of New York. Currently, every photo is considered Confidential and the corpse is kept in the Idaho National Laboratory.

The sound was later re-recorded in 2295 and a match was discovered, tracing it to a juvenile specimen of the Bloop which still amazed them due to its already massive size.

Trivia[]

The Bloop picture is what the Bloop actually looks like.
