The Best Salmon Pasta Recipe

After you make this creamy salmon pasta recipe once, your family is going to beg you to make it again.

It's seriously that good!

This salmon pasta recipe has it all. Tender baked salmon, perfectly cooked pasta, wilted spinach, and a creamy sauce that is worth writing home about.

Now, when I'm talking cream sauce, I really mean cream sauce. This pasta sauce has everything you want in a creamy sauce - from the garlic, capers, and butter to the white wine and lemon zest. It's really the best cream sauce you've ever had, I guarantee it!

Also, something I love about this creamy salmon pasta recipe is that you can easily make small adjustments to it to make it a bit different every time. So, if you're curious about those small tweaks, I'll go into them in greater detail down below!

Oh, and for what it's worth, this garlic bread recipe or Little Caesars crazy bread is something I always pair with this pasta recipe. I just love dipping the bread into the cream sauce. There's just something so satisfying about eating the crispy, garlicky bread, with the warm rich sauce.

Ingredients

The ingredient list for this recipe is pretty simple. With a quick trip to the grocery store, you can have everything you need to make this recipe.

Here's what you're going to need to cook your salmon:

  • 2 Salmon Fillets
  • 1 tsp. Kosher salt
  • ½ tsp. Black Pepper

And what you'll need for the creamy sauce:

  • 12 oz. Pappardelle Pasta (or any pasta you want)
  • 2 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup Dry White Wine
  • 1 tsp. Grated Lemon Zest
  • 5 oz. Baby Spinach Leaves
  • 2 tbsp. Capers

That's it!

And I promise it's worth it to use each and every one of these ingredients. They work together perfectly to make the best pasta dish you've ever had. Plus, you can use almost every single one to make this creamy spinach pasta and shrimp pasta, so definitely check those easy pasta recipes out next!

For the pasta, I prefer pappardelle pasta because I like the shape and how it clings to the sauce. That being said, you can use any kind of pasta you like, including whole wheat pasta.

Now, about those little tweaks, in addition to the occasional squeeze of lemon juice, I do also like to add sun dried tomatoes, grated parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, or even red pepper flakes every now and then.

But, feel free to add ingredients that suit your tastes! Practically anything can go well with this pasta recipe.

By the way, if you're picking up salmon from the store, grab a few extra fillets to make some more of my delicious salmon recipes. These salmon bites, fried salmon, and miso glaze salmon are all so good.

How To Reheat Salmon Pasta

To reheat your leftover pasta, my favorite way is to put everything in a skillet. Just add everything to a skillet over medium heat with a dash of olive oil.
