We are looking for dependable, honest and hardworking individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has a positive attitude, solid work ethic and enjoys working with others to produce a quality product.

Skillset:

• Is familiar with and knowledgeable in all aspects of tow motor use (safety procedures and operation of tow motor).
• Must pass the Industrial Truck training and test, is aware of all safety rules regarding tow truck use and uses PPE as required.
• Inspects tow motor before operating and fills out daily checklist.
• Changes out propane tanks/replaces with full tank/secures to tow motor - places empty tanks in appropriate area and uses PPE as required.
• With tow motor, the Case Packer will deliver poly wrap to the case packing line.
• The Case Packer will take the waste yarn/rags to the tin warehouse as needed.
• Places 5 to 10 lb. tubes onto grading frames.
• The Case Packer will pick up from frames the 20 to 30 lb. metal rollers and will place them in appropriate bin for weave room use.
• The Case Packer will push the approximately 500 lb. cloth trucks to let off tables on the grading frames and using the hoist, will place the rolls of cloth onto the tables.
• The Case Packer will cut/measure and sort cardboard tubes for recycling.
• Verify Greige Element Label with information written on the fabric, pulls up the Inspection folder on the computer and verifies/notes style specific requirements.
• The Case Packer checks rolls at the sortation area to determine distribution by using the Packing Specification Sheet and the Cloth In Sortation Line by Style sheet.
• The Case Packer will weigh each roll, enter weight into computer, wrap or bag and send to appropriate location based on the Packing Specification sheet.
• The Case Packer will have various other task such as getting supplies, cutting tubes with power/band saw, and general housekeeping in their area.
• Available to work 5:00 am – 1:00 pm Monday - Friday
