What’s the best pan for skillet meals?

I’ve been cooking in cast iron skillets for years. In fact, I have several of my late grandmothers. They are probably at least 50 years old and still are in incredible condition. As long as you keep your pan clean and seasoned, a cast-iron skillet is a great investment that will become a lifelong staple in your kitchen. If you don’t have one, I highly recommend getting one! They aren’t expensive, and they will last for many years if cared for properly. I have this Lodge 10.25 inch cast iron skillet that I used in all of these recipes.

Is chicken good for the Keto diet?

If you’re a newcomer to Keto, you might not know that having too much protein can actually prevent you from reaching ketosis or kick you out of it. I recommend tracking the amount of protein you have through the day and only making low-carb chicken recipes if they fit into your macros. For example, you may not want to have a protein with every meal. However, that shouldn’t scare you off of meat for good — chicken can definitely be enjoyed throughout the week on keto, as can other proteins like beef and pork!

What kind of chicken works best for Keto chicken recipes?

Whether you’re a fan of chicken breasts or thighs, both options work well in Keto cooking. Chicken breasts are leaner than thighs, meaning they have a lower fat content. If you’re struggling to meet your fat macros, you may want to opt for thighs. Chicken thighs also tend to be cheaper than chicken breasts, which is great if you eat Keto on a budget or feed a large family. Either kind works amazingly in these low-carb chicken recipes.
